My first 'work' exposure just ended. =D

Well on the whole I didn't learn much, because all the stuff I needed to do was pretty brainless and common sensical. 4 days of working has led me to know my fellow 'colleagues' better. I think that should be the biggest takeaway from this experience.

And so now I'm open. To other jobs of course.

Yishu hasn't brought me to the hotel yet, but the intention is there, I hope. I'm most probably going to work at that hotel, unless I decide to follow in the advise of another friend who tells me to work as a waiter, too. =D

And we played soccer today! I scored my first 3 PROPER soccer goals today, which is quite an achievement today considering I never scored any in the history of my soccer-playing in RI. I also broke Hongrui's 100% soccer streak, something which isnt worth much to be but bloggable.

I'm just looking to get past WYCF and the Chorale performance now. It'll be from the 1st to 13th December, so for anyone interested to come find me for tickets please do, but i recommend you to not come. =D

OK I know I said I would do the second batch when I could, but since I'm so not in the mood for blogging because of certain people (hemwanghem) I shall still try my best to do one. Not going to do all, so here's 2 very special people for you.

Wang Yuxin (ha for once I put your name first and not his)
1. RV. =D Thankfully you joined alto in sec 3 so I could know my fellow exco member and vice-chair well. We became much closer after some incident that happened in July 2007. Or August. Whatever.
2. Cai Hong. I so want to learn it on guitar like how you play it, but no hurry. =)

OK this one is really academic-al. I remember clearly sometime near the end of sec 2, when we all got back our APRs. That time we had our last choir practice during school term in term 4, so all sec 2s were comparing GPAs and stuff. At that time I was still quite happy with mine because I didn't do too well or badly, but I remember all sec2s crowded around Yuxin (him) to look at his GPA sheet.

And as you know, he got 3.94. Then I thought to myself how hard getting 4.0s for RI subjects would actually be. Thats when my motivation somehow sparked. So in actual fact this incident sparked (sparks only not ignited) my self motivation for better academic results. =D Thanks.

1. I didn't. Somehow he just appeared and we promised to be friends. xD No la its because of RV. I knew him because of uh... trip 2006. That time I didn't know a lot of sec 2s well, including him. =D Only got to know him better in BEATS and subsequently exco0708.

3. He sings lower than me. Not fair.

I'm busy!

On a work attachment now (a really short one) for 4 days. Getting paid $6.50 per hour for helping to move kids around, doing some jobs like giving out food, aranging chair-dustbins, etc. It's really quite slack fun considering that the people in this job are all people that I know of, well except one or two like Patrick. =)

Then there's CHORALE. =O

We're currently learning 3~5 songs. 3 songs for the WYCF performance on the 12th of Dec (please tell me if you want tickets). Practices are moderately intensive, since we have around 10 practices left for this upcoming performance.

Well of course I do have a lot to say about how chorale is like, what it's like to be singing with your seniors, how you fit it, blah blah. But I'm not going to do it here today because I'm freaking tired and not in the mood to blog about that.

Besides, you never know who's reading. =D

And I'm going to apply for a job today. Kudos (in advance) to Yishu for bringing me there. =D Let's hope I get the interview. (The job sounds REALLY tiring and very sai, but I'll still do it because I can take saigang, remember? =DD)

Class Chalet! >.<

Well its better than the one we have in sec 3, which was nothing. But it was a good attempt at calling everyone back together. ><

Not enough people were going, so the mahjong people didnt play the whole night, so I obviously didnt stay up so I'm pretty much awake now. Not really sleepy, but I definitely feel a little tired.

4D did a lot of things! Unfortunately a person like doesnt take pictures, so try searching them on JianXiong's or Amit's facebook/blog to get a few pictures. We played mahjong, Texas poker, Bridge, Heart Attack with cards (quite fun eh ^^), As*hole Taiti. Other games include Murderer, which was the highlight of the game, Ball Wars at the kiddy playground, and some other stuff which I can't recall.

This is definitely not the most memorable class chalet for me, but the things we did were definitely not typical of class chalet, like games consoles spam and beach activities. Oh well at least I hoped that most of us had fun.

Anything else? Oh yes the main focus of my holiday is now switched to WYCF, which will probably take up my whole holiday. ><

Had an eventful past few days =DD

The few most important events in my life so far were just over, namely Grad Ceremony and Grad Night. Oh and collecting APR. But grades aside for this post.

Grad Ceremony was... inspiring? Its just like any other assembly there was, not really eventful, somehow I dont feel really "graduated". Must be the RI(JC) thing. Makes me think I'm still in RI. I was still playing PSP and cube before the event started, and even when the event started, which is typical of me. =D

Grad Night was that specatacular, it was simple. =D I liked it that way, even though I didn't leave the event on a high. I don't really remember the event now even though the tagline was "Graduation Night 2008 - A Night to Remember". >< Took RV, 4D' 08, 2J'06 photos, which took me by shock because I was actually surprised that people WANTED to take photos. Went out with Daniel and Yuxin to drink coffee later (thanks!) while thinking about the future. I'm not really a guy to think about the past, unless it really leaves an impact on me.

I guess Grad Night wasn't so memorable because I helped planned it? HAHA. Oh well I guess its fun planning anyway. The silhoulette photos rock. =DD

And... today! Yuxin, Honggy, Josh came to my house for mahjong as planned, with Ryan and Qiule crashing the party. (it wasnt a real crash, more like invited to come, but unexpected) We played mahjong, bridge, and then basketball after lunch. Not something big, but I guess its still memorable and fun. =D Hongrui had a real fun time trying to prove that he could win me at bridge and mahjong, and he did - - Oh well =D you win then. I admit defeat. *waves white flag*

Class chalet is tomorrow! I hope everything goes out well. Food seems to be a problem now because we got 12~ people and there isnt enough food. Heck just starve for one night. =D

Now onto more serious stuff.

I've decided on PCMM, in case you didnt know. Thats Physics, Chem, Music and Maths for you. Decided not to take econs because since PCE were equally important, I went with my likes. =D Hopefully I'll do well in my academics in JC.

And chorale. Was planning on joining chorale at first, but the practice on Monday made me change my decision a little. Its just, I couldn't find that passion for singing which is rare in me, and the feeling that I own the music and enjoy it. Perhaps I need more time? =D

Hopefully the performance with Chorale at the WYCF performance will change my perception. Somehow.

Maybe that flame of passion for choral music is already dead! =D HAHA.

And I'm really worrying that I can't get into Council. Will that be the end of the world? ><><

It must be the post exam withdrawal from books. I can't believe I actually thought of starting to go seek for jc books and start reading them. O.o That's how bored I am.

My subject combi currently stands at PCMM (physics, chem, maths, music) Offers to try and persuade me are welcome, but pre matriculation is due on sunday (?) I'm not entirely sure.

Thanks for everyone who came down to support the show! Even though some of you left early, some of you reached home really late (for the record I reached home at 12.30, but thank you Josiah and parents!), while some of you might not realyl enjoy the show... we from the org comm really appreciate you making the effort to come down!
